Sin da ragazzo, sensibile alle varie forme di espressione artistica, inizia la sua esperienza formativa nel mondo dell'intaglio e della scultura, iscrivendosi nel 1994, ai corsi promossi dall'Universita' Popolare della 3^ Eta' di Ivrea.

A seguito di nuove e ulteriori esperienze, nel frattempo acquisite autonomamente, inizia a partecipare nel 2002 a varie mostre, esposizioni e concorsi a livello nazionale ed internazionale, ottenendo ragguardevoli posizioni in graduatoria e premi.

Nello stesso periodo inizia a frequentare un corso di scultura quadriennale su marmo e granito presso il Laboratorio Artistico di scultura di Front C.se, nell'intento di ampliare le proprie conoscenze formative.

Orientandosi cosi' su altri e diversi materiali e acquisendo diverse tecniche da adottare nell'esecuzione del lavoro. Nel 2006 al termine di tale corso, ottiene il patentino di scultura su marmo, granito e modellato su creta.

Attualmente si sta dedicando alla realizzazione di proprie opere mediante il processo di fusione in bronzo a cera persa ed ad altri tipi di lavorazione di materiali.

Ettore Barbero

Since he was young, always sensible at the various forms of artistic expression, he began his training experience in the world of engraving and sculpture, enrolling in 1994 for courses promoted by the Popular University of the 3rd Age of Ivrea.

Following new and additional experience in the meantime acquired independently, he began participating in 2002 at several exhibitions, expositions and competitions of national and international level, obtaining considerable positions in the ranking and awards.

In the same period he begins to attend a four-year course in sculpture of marble and granite in the Artistic Laboratory of Front C.se, in order to broaden their educational knowledge.

Orienting itself to other, different materials and acquiring different techniques to be used in the execution of the work. In 2006 at the end of this course, he gets the license of marble sculpture, granite and modeled clay.

Currently it is devoting to the realization of his works by means of the fusion of bronze, using the process in lost wax and, in the same time, to other types of processing materials.
